Uzbekistan has received another important “ticket” in the geopolitical arena
CMI is an intellectual and strategic center of global scale, uniting industrial corporations, government agencies, research centers and investors. Here the “resource map of the future” is being formed. The list of 23 critical minerals published by CMI this year has already become a benchmark for technological development and industrial policy in many countries.
“We can become a bridge for TMK in establishing partnerships with leading companies in Canada and the United States. North American companies also need a reliable partner like Uzbekistan,” said CMI CEO Tracey Hughes.
Membership in CMI opens up a number of advantages for Uzbekistan:
- receiving prompt and reliable information on the resource strategies of the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and Asia;
- inclusion of rare elements mined in Uzbekistan in international supply chains;
- access to platforms for technology transfer and investment attraction;
- receiving a weekly "Critical Minerals Report" with an analysis of market fluctuations, political decisions and technological innovations.
Thanks to this step, TMK will be able not only to more actively promote the interests of Uzbekistan in the global market, but also to participate in the development of positions on issues of regional stability and global supply security.
