A complex worthy of the great legacy of Imam Bukhari

The Head of State reviewed the creative work being carried out here.
The great muhaddith enjoys deep reverence throughout the Islamic world, and thousands of people aspire to visit his mausoleum. To provide broader conditions for pilgrims, a grand architectural complex is being constructed here.
The sacred site has been expanded to 44 hectares. A mausoleum, a mosque for 10,000 worshippers, and an administrative building have been built. Four minarets, each 75 meters high, have given the ensemble a special grandeur.
Finishing works are currently underway. Calligraphic inscriptions with hadiths from “Sahih al-Bukhari” are being applied to the portals and walls of the terrace.
The President emphasized that this complex should become not only a place of worship but also a center of science, enlightenment, education, and moral guidance. It was noted that the great works, knowledge, and personal qualities of Imam Bukhari serve as a noble example for all, especially for the younger generation.
For this purpose, an innovative museum is being established as part of the new complex. It will showcase the life and scholarly legacy of Imam Bukhari, recognized in the Islamic world as the “Sultan of Muhaddiths”, as well as his contribution to the development of Islamic science and enlightenment. The museum will feature exhibits on the history of the 25 prophets mentioned in the Quran, the genealogy of the Prophet Muhammad, his life in Mecca and Medina, and information about the collection and recording of hadiths.
Adjacent to the complex, the construction of a hotel and other facilities for pilgrims is nearing completion.
The Head of State gave instructions to complete the work with high quality, expand visitor amenities, and increase the number of green areas around the complex.
