The President of Uzbekistan departs on an official visit to China

According to the program, on August 31 – September 1, in the city of Tianjin, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and in the SCO Plus format meeting.

Current issues related to the further development of multifaceted cooperation within the SCO in priority areas and enhancing the organization’s activities will be discussed.

The adoption of the Tianjin Declaration, joint documents, and decisions is planned.

On September 2, in Beijing, the Leader of Uzbekistan will hold talks with the President of China Xi Jinping, as well as several meetings with heads of foreign delegations and representatives of China’s business community.

On September 3, the President of Uzbekistan is scheduled to participate in the ceremonial events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II.
