The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan meets with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan’s Parliament

Issues related to strengthening the strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, including through parliamentary channels, were discussed.

With deep satisfaction, the intensity of mutual visits and meetings between the two countries’ parliamentary delegations was noted. Friendship groups are active in parliaments. In May, the regular interparliamentary forum was successfully held in Tokyo.

The importance of establishing cooperation among relevant parliamentary committees, local councils of people’s deputies, and prefectural assemblies in Japan, as well as of exchanging legislative experience in digital technologies and artificial intelligence, was noted.
