The President of Uzbekistan discusses the development of cooperation in the law enforcement sphere with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Türkiye

On July 28, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye Süleyman Soylu, who is in Uzbekistan on a working visit.

Issues of developing practical cooperation in law enforcement and public security in the context of the implementation of agreements at the highest level were considered.

Minister Süleyman Soylu conveyed the warm greetings and good wishes of the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Uzbekistan. 

The readiness of the Turkish side to establish a systematic interdepartmental partnership to effectively coordinate efforts and counter modern challenges and threats to security was emphasized.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the issues of continuing active contacts, exchanging information and studying best practices, conducting joint activities to combat organized crime, including in cyberspace, terrorism, religious extremism, drug trafficking and illegal migration.
