TASHKENT, July 30. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Tashkent hosted the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The high-level conference was attended by SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming, foreign ministers of member states, national coordinators and international experts.
The speakers at the event unanimously recognized the high activity of Uzbekistan within the framework of the chairmanship of the Organization. In particular, the fruitful work carried out, the initiatives put forward aimed at the development of important areas and directions were noted. The participants talked about the main event – the Summit of the Presidents, to be held in Samarkand.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi:
– I would like to state that we are ready to continue to fully support the chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the Organization. I am sure that today's meeting will enrich the agenda of the upcoming Samarkand Summit.

– We highly appreciate the events in science and technology, culture, healthcare, tourism, youth work carried out within the framework of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the SCO. The legal framework of the partnership is complemented by intergovernmental agreements in tourism and a Memorandum of Cooperation in the museum business.
It should also be noted that at the initiative of Uzbekistan, a detailed package of documents has been developed aimed at achieving transport connectivity, strengthening cooperation in the energy sector, developing smart agriculture and digital transformation, interregional ties, introducing high technologies and innovations.

– Tajikistan approves the programs proposed by Uzbekistan to stimulate industrial cooperation of business circles and cooperation in renewable energy use.
