The next forum of the CIS Intelligentsia ended in Tashkent

Tashkent hosted the 15th Forum of CIS Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Representatives of science, education, culture and art took part in the event.

The theme of the forum “Humanitarian cooperation – thirty years of experience and development prospects” involved the discussion of plans for cooperation and the identification of priority areas and forms of work, taking into account modern realities.

At the forum, the leadership of Uzbekistan highly appreciated the fact that the CIS countries have mobilized all the necessary opportunities for enhancing and developing cooperation.

The forum participants emphasized that based on the initiative and idea of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the friendship and cooperation between the CIS countries have been brought to a new level in harmony with the intensity of reforms in the renewing Uzbekistan.

Such forums are an annual platform for discussing new initiatives and promising areas of humanitarian cooperation, contribute to the enrichment of cultures, strengthening mutual understanding between the Commonwealth countries.

The winners of the interstate prizes “Commonwealth Stars” and “Commonwealth of Debuts” were awarded. A performance by the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra took place.

Following the event, the results of the practical work of cooperation were summed up in detail, tasks for the near future were defined, and a resolution of the forum was adopted.
