KUWAIT, February 21. /"Dunyo" IA/. The new Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov yesterday presented a copy of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Abdullah Ali al-Yahya.

After a short ceremony, Ambassador Ayubkhan Yunusov and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali al-Yahya discussed the current state and prospects for close bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral relations in various sectors, increasing mutual trade volume, and implementing joint investment projects.

The parties also reviewed the schedule of upcoming joint events for the current year.

At the end of the conversation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait sincerely congratulated the Ambassador of Uzbekistan on his appointment to a responsible position.

The new Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov arrived in the capital of Kuwait on February 6. Before his appointment to Kuwait, he served as the head of the division at the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
