TASHKENT, February 24. /"Dunyo" IA/. On February 23, 2024, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Cuba, Carlos Valdez de la Concepcion, who is based in Baku.

Carlos Valdes de la Concepcion succeeded Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, who served as the Cuban Ambassador to Uzbekistan from 2019 to 2024.
