On the celebration of the holy Ramadan Hayit

In New Uzbekistan, thanks to large-scale reforms carried out on the basis of the noble idea of "In the name of man, in the name of his happiness", work to improve the well-being of the people, strengthen peace and tranquility, friendship and unity of our multinational society is rising to a qualitatively new level.
All this is of great importance in holding the holy month of Ramadan, which personifies generosity, generosity and gratitude, in an atmosphere of peace and harmony, prosperity and celebration in the country. Such high human qualities inherent in our people since ancient times as humanism, mutual respect, kindness and mercy, attention and care for low-income citizens, families in need of support, are especially clearly manifested in these blessed days.
In continuation of such noble work for the purpose of a worthy meeting and holding at a high level the sacred holiday of Ramadan Hayit, as well as the wide propaganda of the good traditions and values of our people embodied in it, I decree:
1. To take into account the information of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan on the coincidence this year of the first day of Ramadan Hayit with March 30 - Sunday, to widely celebrate March 30, 2025 in our country as the holiday of Ramadan Hayit.
2. To take into account that in accordance with Article 208 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
(a) due to the coincidence in 2025 of the first day of Ramadan Hayit, which is a holiday non-working day, with Sunday - a day off, this day off is moved to March 31 - Monday;
(b) in this case, when performing work on public holidays, the suspension of which is impossible due to production, technical and organizational conditions (continuous production, daily public service, work on a duty basis, etc.), the transfer of days off is not carried out.
3. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent, together with the Committee on Religious Affairs, the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan, the National Agency for Social Protection and other partner organizations, shall implement appropriate measures in the regions to conduct Ramadan Hayit in harmony with the national traditions and customs of our people.
The Tourism Committee, together with the Ministry of Transport, shall create favorable conditions and opportunities for organizing visits to sacred places of pilgrimage and historical shrines for our compatriots during Ramadan Hayit.
4. Recommend that the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan and other mass media widely cover events related to the celebration of Ramadan Hayit.
5. Control over the implementation of this resolution shall be assigned to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aripov A.N. and the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Davletov R.K.
