Iranian President receives Uzbek delegation in Tehran

At the beginning of the meeting, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude to the Iranian leader for the hospitality shown to the delegation of our country and conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that due to the strong political will of the heads of the two states, mutual cooperation has risen to the level of comprehensive relations, and the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level is also important for regional stability.

Special attention was also paid to ensuring the implementation of agreements reached in the priority areas of bilateral relations, namely trade, economic and investment, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, interregional and cultural and humanitarian areas.

As part of their visit to Tehran, the delegation of our country also visited the Iranian House of Innovations and Technologies and got acquainted with advanced products and developments in such fields as energy, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, IT, and construction.

This concluded the visit of the Uzbek government delegation to Iran.
