Furniture centers based on the experience of Khanka will be launched in eight districts

This was announced at a videoconference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
To increase this, it is necessary to resolve a number of issues. For example, 25-30 percent of furniture products are made in homes. There are many furniture makers who are striving to move from home production to the industrial stage.
Therefore, individual entrepreneurs are allowed to hire up to 5 employees and produce furniture. Young entrepreneurs who want to start and expand this activity will be allocated an 18% loan of up to 5 billion soums for 7 years.
More than 100 enterprises are installing modern equipment and producing furniture in the "Furniture Center" in Altynkol and Khanka. Entrepreneurs who previously made furniture in a cramped space in their homes are now settling into a single complex and working in a cluster system.
Sharof Rashidov, Yangi Namangan, Pastdargam, Orta Chirchik, Kuva, Buvaida, Yunusabad and Uchtepa have also been instructed to launch furniture centers based on the Khanka experience.
