President of Uzbekistan departs for a working visit to Turkmenistan

At the upcoming conference, to be held in Avaza, pressing issues related to strengthening transport connectivity and simplifying trade procedures, economic transformation, increasing resilience to climate change and environmental challenges, and advancing progress in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, will be addressed.

The adoption of the Avaza Political Declaration and a Programme of Action is expected.

The President of Uzbekistan will also take part in an event focused on preparations for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and will hold several bilateral meetings.
