The President of Uzbekistan to pay an official visit to China

On August 31 – September 1, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the SCO Plus summit, which will be held in the city of Tianjin.

The agenda of the events includes pressing aspects of expanding multilateral cooperation in priority areas and enhancing the organization’s activities. The meetings are expected to result in the adoption of the Tianjin Declaration, as well as joint documents and decisions aimed at developing and strengthening partnerships in the fields of security, the digital economy, green industry, energy, tourism, and other areas.

On September 2, in Beijing, the President of Uzbekistan will hold talks with the President of China Xi Jinping, as well as meetings with officials and heads of leading Chinese companies. Issues related to deepening the all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China, as well as expanding practical cooperation, will be discussed.

On September 3, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the ceremonial events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II.
