Preparations for the "Uzbekistan Food Festival" discussed with Kuwaiti entrepreneurs

The online meeting discussed preparations for the "Uzbekistan Food Festival", which will be held on December 16-17 this year in the "The Sultan Center" supermarket chain in Al-Kuwait.
Today, the "The Sultan Center" retail chain has 70 supermarkets in 4 countries. It has more than 40 stores in Kuwait and an online shopping service. The company owns 7 supermarkets in the Sultanate of Oman, 17 in Jordan and 3 in Bahrain.
During the discussion, the terms of signing a contract, delivery, packaging and payment for the sale of food products produced in Uzbekistan in the "The Sultan Center" network were agreed with the Kuwaiti side.
Also, feedback was exchanged with representatives of the Kuwaiti company "JAMEIA Dot Com Food Stores" on the projects to be implemented within the framework of this festival.
Currently, more than 50 percent of the Kuwaiti population - 2.1 million customers - are registered on this company and its online trading platform "Jameia.com". The company's annual revenue is more than $ 40 million. The platform cooperates with more than 500 retail stores and 700 suppliers.
The meeting also considered the issue of placing our local products in the "Made in Uzbekistan" window created by Uzbek entrepreneurs on the online trading platform "Jameia.com". It was agreed to launch the sale of food products on the online platform at the first stage.
The issues of delivering these products to Kuwait, their prices, and establishing the sale of products imported from Uzbekistan stored in warehouses belonging to "Jameia.com" were discussed.
