Samarkand Campus of the International Tourism Academy to be Established

According to the resolution, the following target indicators for the activities of the Samarkand Campus of the International Tourism Academy (Academy), established under the auspices of the UN World Tourism Organization, were established. In particular:

• Establishing cooperation with educational organizations included in the top 10 most prestigious world rankings and training specialists;

• Organizing advanced training courses of up to 1 month and retraining courses of up to 8 months.

This academy is part of the structure of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. Education at the institution will be carried out in Uzbek, Russian and English languages, in accordance with the current forms of education in Uzbekistan.

From December 1, 2025:

• Specialists of tourism entities will be retrained and advanced on a contract basis.

• Every year, 100 talented specialists from member states of the World Tourism Organization are allocated special grants to study in the Academy's retraining and advanced training programs.
