The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sheikh Sabah Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah.

The Uzbek side expressed its full support for measures aimed at ensuring the sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security of the State of Kuwait. It was also noted that the people of Uzbekistan stand in a spirit of brotherhood and solidarity with the people of Kuwait.

In turn, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on behalf of the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Mish'al al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and expressed gratitude for the support provided to Kuwait.

The parties stressed the importance of further strengthening friendly and brotherly relations, as well as continuing efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region.
