The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan has been recognized as the best museum in the Turkic world

This was announced by the organization’s Secretary General, Sultan Raev, within the framework of an international scientific conference dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur.
This Center, built in a short period of time at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is today highly appreciated not only as an architecturally unique structure, but also as a symbolic bridge connecting Eastern and Western civilizations. With its concept, content, essence and scientific and educational direction, it clearly demonstrates the creative and enlightening potential of Islamic civilization.
Solemnly presenting the “Best Museum” certificate to the leadership of the Center, Sultan Raev especially recognized the policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev aimed at in-depth study of the heritage of Islamic civilization and its promotion on a global scale:
— Thanks to the special attention of Honorable President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, today the heritage of Amir Temur and Islamic culture are being studied in depth. New scientific and artistic works are being created, modern scientific and educational centers are being built. I can say with confidence that there is no such center in the world. This is undoubtedly a vivid expression of the ideas of the Third Renaissance. Sometimes the world is limited to statements. However, Uzbekistan sets an example with its practical work and concrete results.
In turn, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, also expressed his thoughts on this high recognition:
— Our Center, established on the basis of the direct initiatives and authorial ideas of our Honorable President, has today become one of the most prestigious mega-projects in the Turkic world. The head of our state personally participated in its construction and supervised all the processes. Today, every visitor leaves the Center with a great impression. As is known, TURKSOY is an influential international organization that unites such countries as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Turkey, and is often recognized as the “UNESCO of the Turkic World”. Today, the museum heritage of these countries includes about 1,300 museums. The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, with its creative idea, deep concept, and innovative solutions, occupies a special place among these museums and is a unique cultural and scientific phenomenon.
F. Abdukhalikov also noted the growing international interest in the Center's activities. In particular, the Hungarian government has expressed interest in studying the Center's experience and cooperating on implementing a similar project. The leadership of the Bavarian region of Germany has expressed its readiness to support initiatives aimed at promoting Islam through enlightenment.
At the end of the event, it was emphasized that this award is a bright example of the Center's high international prestige, scientific and cultural importance, and the high recognition of the Turkic world.
