President of Uzbekistan receives Belarusian delegation

At the beginning of the meeting, the high-ranking guest conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the head of our state.

The urgent issues of further expanding Uzbek-Belarusian multifaceted partnership relations were considered from the point of view of preparing for upcoming high-level events.

The fruitful results of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission held in Tashkent region in May of this year were noted with satisfaction.

The volume of trade turnover has increased by 32% since the beginning of this year and is growing steadily. Cooperation projects are being implemented in agriculture, engineering and other sectors.

It was emphasized that it is important to take coordinated measures to further expand trade and economic cooperation, as well as to intensify cultural, humanitarian and interregional ties.
