The President of Uzbekistan stressed the importance of further expanding multifaceted partnership with Kazakhstan

At the beginning of the conversation, Olzhas Bektenov conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the head of our state.

The topical issues of further deepening the Uzbek-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance were considered.

The active dialogue at all levels was noted with satisfaction. The volume of trade has increased, and cooperation projects in priority sectors of the economy continue to be implemented on the basis of the recently adopted new "road map".

The importance of thorough preparation for the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission to be held in July and the first Council of Heads of Regions to be held in Aktau was emphasized.
