Gratitude to foreign partners for Independence Day greetings
On behalf of the multiethnic people of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has expressed sincere gratitude to the heads of state and government, prominent foreign political and public figures, chiefs of international organizations and financial institutions for their congratulatory letters on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of our national independence.
Uzbekistan’s leader thanked the partners for the high evaluation and support for the extensive transformation and socio-economic reforms underway in the country, attention to the consolidation of bilateral relations of friendship and the multifaceted cooperation, as well as for the effective interaction in overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
The President stressed our country’s openness and readiness to enhance long-term partnership with foreign nations and international organizations, to promote joint projects and programs in trade, economy, investments, innovation, transport, tourism, science, medicine, education, culture and other priority areas, to continue constructive dialogue within the framework of multilateral bodies on pressing issues of the global and regional agenda.
It is worth reminding that this year, more than a hundred leaders of foreign states and international organizations have sent their congratulations on the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
